ISC³ - Compute center
/ˌaɪ.ɛs.ˈsiː ˈkjuːb/
Welcome to the documentation site of ISC³, the compute center of the ISC bachelor program. The site is organized in three sections :
Using ISC³
For end users : requesting access, connecting, submitting jobs, storage and the FAQ.
Infrastructure
The machines themselves : hardware, software configuration and hosted services.
Operations
How the datacenter is run : processes, admin tooling and inventory.
This site also hosts — for now — the documentation of CALC@HEI, the HEI research computing infrastructure (Chacha and Disco). It is a distinct infrastructure with its own governance in the making, kept clearly separated so it can move to its own site :
The tools for students and teachers — document templates, software toolchains, proctoring solutions — live on the ISC Hub.
Contributing
Your contributions are more than welcome and do not hesitate to populate the site. Content is written in Markdown. Edit the files in docs/ directly on GitHub (or clone the repository) — the site rebuilds automatically on every push.
Accessing the site
Do not hesitate to contact the site admin (Pierre-André) if you require an editor access or access to restricted areas of the site.
